Midas Gold has adopted a two-mile stretch of Idaho Highway 55, miles 113 and 114 in the Cascade city limits to be exact. We held our first cleanup day on October 30.
Our geologic staff in Lake Fork and COO Bob Barnes collected about 20 bags of trash and other assorted debris in just three hours. We are excited to do our part to help keep our community and a stretch of the highway clean.
Midas will be performing cleanup for the Idaho Transportation Department twice a year going forward.
