Responsible performance at Perpetua is built into how the Project is designed, operated, and evaluated. Before construction even began, we spent $19 million to improve water quality and clean up 376,000 tons of legacy waste and tailings at site.
We measure and report our performance against clear environmental and operational standards. This approach has been in place for more than a decade, with annual sustainability reporting and ongoing audits that measure emissions, environmental performance and other factors. The result is a system of accountability and transparency.
Restoration at Stibnite is already taking shape. Over the past several years, early cleanup work has addressed some of the most pressing legacy impacts. As of December 2025:
Voluntary cleanup work completed in partnership with the EPA and U.S. Forest Service.
Early cleanup efforts have relocated and stabilized historical tailings away from waterways, reducing a legacy source of sediment and metals.
Initial efforts have already reduced contaminant exposure and improved water quality in key areas of the site.
Early earthwork and environmental controls have helped reduce erosion and sediment entering nearby waterways.
Each year, Perpetua Resources publishes a detailed report on environmental, social, and governance performance. It includes data on water quality, safety, workforce, community investment, and restoration progress.
