Gabe has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Boise State University and over 21 years of accounting experience, including public accounting, private sector, non-profit and government accounting! In fact, he not only served on the Donnelly City Council for over 10 years but also served as the Valley County Treasurer! As Perpetua’s Controller, Gabe is responsible for leading the accounting team and all related functions including treasury management, financial and tax reporting, budget and forecast preparation, cost control and internal controls. Gabe learned the importance of conserving our natural resources at a very young age. He was excited to join Perpetua Resources because he noticed our commitment to environmentally sound practices as well as our culture of integrity and commitment to Idaho’s public land and its vast resources. Like most Idahoans, Gabe and his family love to go hiking, hunting, fishing and camping! In his free time, Gabe’s family, alongside their four dogs, love to explore new places in this beautiful state we call home.
Tracey Thurmond
Executive Coordinator
Tracey Thurmond
Tracey has over 25 years of experience in finance. She is an essential member of the Perpetua Resources team as she is responsible for handling the daily duties of the Donnelley office. She provides HR assistance to the HR manager and administrative support to the rest of the company. Mining is woven within the history of Tracey’s family and she loves that Perpetua allows her the opportunity to continue her family’s legacy. She is also proud to work for a mining company that is setting the standard for future mining projects through their strong stance on reclamation before, during and after mining -- leaving the site in a better position than how they found it. In her free time, Tracey can often be found reading, cooking and creating new concoctions, or driving her horse-drawn carriage.
